Christmas success

We had a nice Christmas Eve. Mom and I made Pirogi while Aidan was napping. When he woke up, we headed to Kelly and Bob's for our dinner. We had a nice and uncomplicated dinner. Even though we planned on not having the traditional 13 dishes, we ended up having it anyway. The veggie tray helps! After dinner, we opened presents and it was an Aidan extravaganza. He loved his guitar (thank you Grandma!), his Mack truck, his Lite-Brite (Thank you Aunt Kelly and Uncle Bob), and his Leapster 2 (Thank you Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Dave). He is antsy for me to put batteries in it! Christmas morning was quiet - just the 2 of us - and he got his stocking from Santa and a forklift. It was nice. I spent most of the morning putting together a big truck toy I bought him. Those stickers are a pain but you could see his excitement building as he saw it come together.

His dad picked him up and took him to Prescott around 10. Won't see him until tonight or tomorrow and I miss the little guy!
